Outdoor applications

With skai® cool colours Venezia and skai® Neptun, skai® offers the market innovative artificial leather for outdoor use in a wide range of colours and designs. skai® cool colours Venezia is a high-quality upholstery fabric for outdoor use whose surface significantly reduces the heating of the upholstery material in direct sunlight.

Special cool colours pigments reflect up to 80% of near-infrared radiation. This reduces the heating of the covering material by up to 25%.

This innovative technology has already proven its worth in other sectors, such as chair upholstery or window frames. The darker the colour, the greater the effect. In the outdoor sector, skai® cool colours Venezia now allows the use of coloured plastics across the spectrum, which was previously problematic due to heating.

Also available in many summer colours is the outdoor material skai® Neptun in the reliefs Caleri and Pescara. It has everything an upholstery material needs to withstand all weather conditions. The extremely robust material is lightfast and waterproof. All other values are also well above standard. This makes the surface a successful long-term seller, especially for outdoor use, e.g. in cafés and restaurants.  skai® Venezia
